At the Surgical Outpatient Clinic, we provide specialized care in several different surgical areas. Here, we meet patients who need investigation, treatment, and follow-up for various surgical conditions. We receive patients in areas such as urology, gastrointestinal surgery, vascular surgery, plastic surgery, and endocrine surgery. Our clinic is characterized by a strong patient focus where we strive to provide safe and secure care. We are also constantly working to develop and improve our working methods to best meet the needs of our patients.

Nurse Breast and Endocrine Team Surgical Outpatient Clinic, Falun

Nurse for the Breast and Endocrine Surgical Team - welcome to an engaged and close-knit team!

We are now looking for a new colleague to join our nursing team as one of our experienced staff members is retiring. Here, you will have the opportunity to work in a specialized and well-functioning team where collaboration, safety, and patient focus are at the center.

The Breast and Endocrine Team consists of three nurses, doctors specializing in breast and endocrine surgery, nursing assistants, and an operating coordinator. Together, we work closely through the entire care process - from investigation and treatment to follow-up. Here, you will have a role where you contribute to work that makes a real difference for patients with breast cancer, thyroid diseases, and other endocrine surgical diagnoses.

As a nurse in our team, you will have a varied and developing assignment. You will, among other things:

• be part of a multiprofessional team where you work closely with both doctors and nursing assistants
• be the patient's contact point throughout investigation, treatment, and follow-up
• work with telephone advice, outpatient work, and administrative tasks related to patient flow
• participate in development work to strengthen quality, patient experience, and the team's working methods
